Important
Thank you for purchasing Rigid Industries’ products for your Jeep®. Installation is fairly simple with
the right tools and good mechanical abilities. If you are not condent in your mechanical skills,
please seek the help of a professional to perform the installation. Please read through all of these
instructions and tips before proceeding with the installation. It is strongly recommended that
this product be installed by a professional.
Installation of this product requires cutting of your factory installed grille. Your factory grille will
be unusable after it has been cut. This product has more surface area than your factory grille. It
may reduce airow into your vehicle. Reduction in airow can potentially lead to overheating
issues. This product has been pre-bent to t the contour of your vehicle grille shell. However, it may
have partially attened during shipping. It may be necessary for you to re-shape in order to get a
good t.

Installation Steps

Step 1: Remove Press-in Buttons

Instruction to remove and save two press-in buttons from the vehicle's front end.

Step 2: Remove 10mm Bolts

Instruction to remove and save four 10mm bolts from the vehicle.

Step 3: Release Grille Shell Clips

Guide on pinching four clips at the bottom of the grille shell to release it.

Step 4: Remove Fog Lights and Grille Shell

Instruction to twist and remove fog lights and then remove the entire grille shell.

Step 5: Template Alignment and Securing

Procedure to cut out the template, align it on the grille, and secure it.

Step 6: Mark Cut Guide Holes

Instruction to use a pick tool to mark twelve inside holes along the edge as a cut guide.

Step 7: Drill Outer Corner Holes

Guidance to drill four outer corner holes on the template using a 5/16 drill bit.

Step 8: Cut Guide Line Preparation

Instruction to remove the template and use tape as a straight edge for cutting.

Step 9: Cutting the Grille

Using an air saw or Dremel to cut out the grille along the taped guideline.

Step 10: Place and Secure New Grille

Placing the new Rigid grille and installing hardware in the corners.

Step 11: Install Mounting Brackets

Installing top, bottom, and side mounting brackets with provided hardware.

Step 12: Install 20" E-Series Light

Installing the 20" E-Series light using the hardware supplied with the light.

Step 13: Reconnect Lights and Mount Grille

Reconnecting factory fog lights and pressing the new grille into place.

Step 14: Re-install Bolts and Wire Lights

Re-installing saved 10mm screws and wiring the lights according to their instructions.
