Updating Everest I and II Printer Firmware
To keep your Rimage™ product at peak performance, update your firmware to the latest version.
Firmware update procedure
1. Obtain the latest Everest printer firmware version.
a. Download the appropriate Everest printer firmware from the Rimage website at
www.rimage.com/support.
b. Create a new folder on the C:\ drive labeled Updated Firmware.
c. Run the self-extracting zip file. The Self-Extractor window opens.
d. Browse to the Updated Firmware folder. The files are extracted to the new folder.
2. Prepare the Everest printer for the firmware update.
- Important! Update one Everest printer at a time.
a. Close any open applications.
b. Remove the power cord from the Everest printer. The Everest printer powers down.
c. Change the mode
switch on the back of
the Everest printer to
position 4 (firmware
update mode).
# Tip: A flat blade
screwdriver may be
used to turn the
mode switch.
d. Reattach the power cord to the Everest printer.
3. Update the Everest printer firmware.
a. Navigate: C:>Program files>Rimage>Utilities.
b. Select EVUpdate.exe
.

c. Choose Select File. The
Select Flash File dialog
displays.
