RioVolt User Preference Guide
RioVolt Firmware 2.1x
Welcome the to the RioVolt Firmware 2.1x User Guide. The 2.1x firmware has many new user
configurable features and a new layout for accessing those features. This guide is designed to help you
understand the features now available to you and to show you how to customize the player to your
preferences. This guide only deals with the User Preferences.
The 2.1x firmware is an update to the 2.01 firmware version. If you are uncomfortable with the new
layout, you may flash back to the 1.13 version, which is posted in the support center at
http://www.riohome.com. This will reset your preference options to those listed in the original manual.
** NEW FEATURES:
New User Preferences (see Part 1)
Supports Winamp .M3U playlists (see Part 3)
10 Disk Resume: Will resume play on the last track accessed on the 10 previous CDs.
This guide is divided into three parts.
Overall layout of the User Preferences and a description of the available features.
Navigating the preferences and examples of configurations used by the technicians at SONIC|blue.
Creating and using playlists.
Conventions used:
Short press = press and release the button.
Long Press = press and hold the button.

Beep Sound: Off, Vol 1, 2, 3, 4
Resume: Off, On
MP3 Buffer: 30 Seconds, 60 Sec
Volume Step: 20, 40
Language: Korea, Japan, EU&US
Volume Fade In: On, Off
Load Defaults: No, Yes
Display
Adapter Light: Off, On
