CD/MP3 Disc Section
Playing a Disc
1. Open the CD door.
2. Hold the disc with the label side facing up and press it onto the spindle until it clicks into
place.
3. Press FUNCTION STANDBY and cycle through the options until the display shows CD with a
blinking “----“. The disc will rotate for a few seconds. If the disc is a standard audio CD,
the total number of tracks will be displayed and then it will start playing automatically. If
the disc is an MP3 CD, the display will show “MP3” and then it will start playing
automatically. Adjust the volume as desired.
4. Press the button again to stop playing temporarily. The indicator will begin to flash.
Resume playing by pressing the button again.
5. To stop playback, press the STOP button. The total number of tracks will be shown on the
display.
TRACK SEARCH
Press the button to skip to the next track on the disc.
Press the button skip back to previous track.
FORWARD/REVESE SEARCH
Press and hold the or button during play to scan the current track at high speed.
When the desired section of the track is found, release the button and normal play will
resume.
PROGRAM PLAY
The tracks on the disc can be programmed to play in any order. Up to 20 tracks can be
programmed.
1. Press the PROG button while in stop mode. Program number “PO1” will flash and shown in
the display.
2. Press the or buttons to select the first track to be programmed.
3. Press the PROG button. The first track number is now stored into memory, and the
program number changes to “PO2”, waiting for your next selection.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 to program additional tracks.
5. After programming is finished, press the button, and program play begins from the first
programmed track. The player stops automatically after all programmed tracks have
been played.
Single track repeat
Press the CD MODE PROG/MEM button once during play. The “REP” sign will be displayed.
Press the or buttons to select a track to repeat.
This track will then play repeatedly until you press the STOP button.
All track repeat
Press CD MODE PROG/MEM button twice, the “REP ALL” sign will be displayed.
