MAINTAINING YOUR HEPA
a. Remove the back cover
b. Use a screwdriver to remove the 2 screws
c. Pull the Hepa-housing out
d. Rinse the Hepa using COOL CLEAN WATER from the faucet
(Do not use soap or any detergents)
e. Shake the Hepa vigorously with open face down (Do not hit it on sharp edges)
to remove excess dirt or water
f. Reinstall the Hepa and back cover by following the steps in reverse order
(Do not operate the unit without the Hepa neutralizer in place).
THE HEPA IS NOT A STANDARD ITEM ON ALL RITELLO UNITS.
CAUTION
Unplug the unit before servicing your Hepa.
UNCLOG THE HOSE IN CASE OF OBSTRUCTION
When you notice a loss of airflow while using the hose, there may be an object
inside the hose clogging it. To clear the obstruction, connect the hose coupling to
backside at the exhaust air opening, making sure both latches are locked.
Simultaneously, place the hose handle tube into the air intake opening on the front
of the Ritello; turn the unit on and shake the hose to help any dirt stuck in the hose
to flow and be trapped inside the Ritello water basin.
Every 200 hours of use, the Ritello will signal
"Replace Hepa" on its Display Screen.
This signal is only to remind you to have your
HEPA Neutralizer inspected, preferably by an
Authorized Ritello Service Center to ensure
optimal performance.
To delete the “Replace Hepa” signal off the
Display Screen, press/hold for 6 seconds on
the (+) & (-) buttons simultaneously using two
fingers, after 6 seconds the “Replace Hepa”
signal will disappear.
