Before using the charger, you must understand the basic
preparations needed to ensure your safety.
Setting up your environment - Guideline for installation
• Please choose a dry place away from rain and plumbing to
install the plug point for your charger.
• It is recommended to use a 16A socket (BS 546 Type-M)
connected through a double pole circuit breaker rated
for 5A.
DANGER
Do not attempt to do the above by yourself.
Contract an electrician to install the same and provide the
above guidelines.
WARNING
Do not reuse an existing 16A installation without checking
the same with the help of an electrician.
Using the Charger safely
• Ensure that the earth line of the socket and incoming earth
lines are connected, both when the MCB is ON and OFF.
• Turn on the main switch and MCB, and ensure that you are
getting 230VAC using a multimeter across the
Line & Neutral.
• Ensure that you are getting less than 3V using a multimeter
across the Neutral & Earth.
