incorrectequipmentinstallationorincorrectpumpuse.Onlytrainedoperatorswithcareful,
deliberateactionsshouldusehydraulicpumpsandhydraulictools.


Personalinjuryandequipmentdamagecanoccuriftheproperhealthandsafetycodesand
proceduresarenotfollowed.Contactthesite’shealthandsafetyofficetodetermineall
applicablesafetyrulesandregulations.


Theproperpersonalprotectiveequipmentmustbewornatalltimes.

CAUTION
RiverhawkrecommendsthatthehydraulicpumpsshouldbereturnedtoRiverhawkforperiodic
inspections.Replacementofobsoletehydraulicpumpsisrecommended.Functionalupgrades
arealsorecommended.TheRiverhawkServiceReturnsCoordinatorshouldbenotified3‐6
monthspriortoaplannedoutagetoscheduleaninspectionservice.

CAUTION
Aircanbecometrappedinthehydraulicsystemwhenconnectinghosesandtensionerstoa
hydraulicpump.Refertothehydraulictensioner’sinstructionstodetermineifbleedingtheair
outofthehydraulicsystemisrequired.

CAUTION
Dependingontheamountofairpresentintheconnectedhosesortensioners,itmaybe
necessarytorefillthepumpwithhydraulicoil.

WARNING
Checkthemaximumworkingpressuresofthehosesandtensionersconnectedtothepump.Do
notexceedthemaximumworkingpressureofthepump,hose,ortensioner.


