RiverhawkrecommendsthatthehydraulicpumpsshouldbereturnedtoRiverhawkforperiodic
inspections.Replacementofobsoletehydraulicpumpsisrecommended.Functionalupgrades
arealsorecommended.TheRiverhawkServiceReturnsCoordinatorshouldbenotified3‐6
monthspriortoaplannedoutagetoscheduleaninspectionservice.

Aircanbecometrappedinthehydraulicsystemwhenconnectinghosesandtensionerstoa
hydraulicpump.Refertothehydraulictensioner’sinstructionstodetermineifbleedingtheair
outofthehydraulicsystemisrequired.

Dependingontheamountofairpresentintheconnectedhosesortensioners,itmaybe
necessarytorefillthepumpwithhydraulicoil.
WARNING
Checkthemaximumworkingpressuresofthehosesandtensionersconnectedtothepump.Do
notexceedthemaximumworkingpressureofthepump,hose,ortensioner.
