Modifications or front-end attachments to the vehicle,
such as bars, winches, or snow plows, may affect seat belt
pretensioner sensors. Don’t modify the vehicle with parts
not approved by Rivian.
Seat Belt Maintenance
Use mild soap with water and a soft cloth to clean surface stains on the seat belt.
Inspect the seat belts periodically for signs of damage, including wear and tear.
Contact Rivian Service to schedule service for your seat belts.
Don’t use bleach or other harsh substances to clean the belts because this can
affect their strength and performance. Don’t make modifications to the seat belts
that would prevent them from properly operating.
