The RK61 keyboard offers a variety of backlight modes to enhance the user experience. You can cycle through 17 different backlight modes by pressing FN + \. The specific number and visual effect of these modes may vary depending on the keyboard version, so users should refer to their actual product for precise details.
To adjust the brightness of the keyboard's backlight, use the FN + { and FN + } key combinations. Pressing FN + { will increase the backlight brightness, while FN + } will decrease it, eventually turning the backlight off. There are four distinct levels of backlight brightness, in addition to the option to completely turn it off.
The speed of the backlight effects can also be adjusted. To increase the speed of the backlight, press FN + ;. To decrease the speed, press FN + '. Similar to brightness, there are four levels of backlight speed available for customization.
The RK61 keyboard features a compact 61-key layout, where many keys have secondary functions accessible via the FN key. This allows for a broader range of commands despite the smaller form factor.
Many keys on the keyboard have a primary function and a secondary function. To activate the secondary function of a key, you typically press the FN key simultaneously with the desired key. For example, FN + 1 activates F1, FN + 2 activates F2, and so on, up to FN + 0 for F10, FN + - for F11, and FN + = for F12. Other keys like backspace, Y, U, I, H, J, K, N, M, ,, and . also have secondary functions such as Del, PrtSc, ScrLk, Pause, Insert, Home, PgUp, Del, End, and PgDn, respectively.
The arrow keys on the RK61 are integrated into other keys due to its compact design. To temporarily switch the W, A, S, D keys (or other designated keys) to function as arrow keys, press FN + Shift (using the Shift key on the right side of the keyboard). Once activated, these keys will perform arrow key functions. To revert them to their primary functions, press FN + Shift again. This feature allows for navigation without dedicated arrow keys.
To prevent accidental presses of the Windows key during gaming or other activities, the RK61 offers a Win Key locking feature. Press FN + A to lock the function of the WIN key. To unlock it and restore its functionality, press FN + A again.

When the keyboard is connected to a computer via a data cable, you can switch between wired and BT modes. Press FN + Tab to switch the keyboard to use the wired mode. Press FN + Tab again to switch back to BT mode. This is particularly useful for seamless transitions between devices or for charging while still using the keyboard.
To connect the RK61 keyboard to a Bluetooth device, follow these steps:

During this time, the P key's backlight will continuously flicker, indicating that it is searching for a device.P key's backlight will turn off, confirming a successful connection.The RK61 keyboard can save up to three different Bluetooth devices, allowing for quick switching between them. To switch among these saved devices, press FN + Q, FN + W, or FN + E. When switching, the backlight will flicker continuously at a certain frequency and then turn off once the switch is successful. If a wireless device is not saved, you will need to press the corresponding key to initiate a new pairing process.
