The two tanks are connected by the tank isolator valve located in the compartment under the driver side bench, to the left of
the refrigerator.
There are two fill locations.
Exterior tank fill location (driver door
pillar)
Interior tank fill location (rear door, right
side)
The fill for the exterior tank is in the door post of the front driver door, near the door handle. Look for the orange plug in
the fill port. With the tank isolator valve CLOSED (handle across the line), running water into the fill port will fill the exterior
tank only - approximately 20 gallons.
The tank selector valve determines which tank the water pump draws water from. It is a long handle with a plastic cover,
usually red or yellow in color, located in the compartment under the driver's side bench, to the left of the refrigerator. See
photos below for how to position the valve to draw from the exterior or interior tank. In summer mode, this handle is in the
exterior tank position, and the tank isolator valve is open.
