Battery disconnect switch
Power Step Switch
Your Roadtrek is equipped with a step that automatically
extends when the side door is opened for easy entry and exit
from your vehicle. To lock the step in the extended position,
push the top of this switch in. A green indicator light will
illuminate, showing that the step is locked in the extended
position. This switch is useful to keep the step stationary and
extended while camping, rather than have it extend and retract
every time the door is opened and shut.
For safety reasons, the step will automatically retract
when the ignition is turned on, even when the step is in the
locked position. This is to prevent damage caused by
driving with the step extended. If you turn the ignition on
for any reason, such as to use the engine generator to
recharge your batteries, please ensure that no one is
attempting to enter or exit the vehicle through the side
door.
