Usage Features

The dishwasher features an intuitive control panel with buttons for power, half-load, extra drying, delay start, and program selection.

  • Programs:
    • Intensive: For heavily soiled crockery like pots, pans, casserole dishes, and dishes with dried food. Uses Pre-wash (50°C), Wash (60°C), Rinse, Rinse, Rinse (65°C), Drying.
    • Heavy: For heavily soiled loads such as pots, plates, glasses, and lightly soiled pans. Uses Pre-wash (45°C), Wash (55°C), Rinse, Rinse (65°C), Drying.
    • ECO (AS/NZS 2007.1 test cycle): For normally soiled loads such as pots, plates, glasses, and lightly soiled pans, standard daily cycle. Uses Pre-wash (45°C), Wash (45°C), Rinse (50°C), Drying.

  • Detergent Dispenser: Designed for dishwasher-specific detergent. Detergent is added to a larger cavity for the main wash cycle, with an option for additional detergent for pre-wash.
  • Adding a Forgotten Dish: Dishes can be added mid-cycle before the detergent dispenser opens. Users are warned about hot steam when opening the door mid-cycle.

Maintenance Features

  • External Care: The door and door seal should be regularly cleaned with a soft damp cloth to remove food deposits. The control panel should also be wiped with a soft damp cloth. Abrasive cleaners or scouring pads should not be used on outer surfaces.
  • Internal Care:
    • Filtering System: The filtering system in the base of the wash cabinet retains coarse debris. Filters should be checked and cleaned regularly under running water. A soft cleaning brush can be used for thorough cleaning. Users are warned not to overtighten filters and never to operate the dishwasher without filters.
    • Spray Arms: Spray arms should be cleaned regularly to prevent clogging from hard water chemicals. They can be removed, washed in soapy water, and cleaned with a soft brush.
  • Caring For The Dishwasher:
    • Frost Precaution: In winter, specific steps should be followed to protect the dishwasher from frost, including cutting off electrical power, turning off water supply, draining water from pipes and valves, and removing water from the sump.
    • After Every Wash: Turn off the water supply and leave the door slightly open to prevent moisture and odors.
