The points and condenser ignition can not be replaced with the electronic ignition unless the flywheel
is
re-
placed. The flywheels on the two ignition systems have the magnets in different locations.

can be identified by the color
of
the cover, which is grey. The newer coil

has a black cover. Both coils use the same points. The condensers are different as noted
above.
