Function Description:
The rock space AC1200 Dual-band Whole Home Mesh Wi-Fi System is designed to provide seamless Wi-Fi coverage throughout a home. It consists of multiple "mesh nodes" that work together to create a single, unified Wi-Fi network, eliminating dead zones and ensuring a strong signal in every corner of the house. The system supports dual-band Wi-Fi, operating on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies, to accommodate a wide range of devices and optimize network performance. One node functions as the primary node, connecting to the internet source (modem), while the others act as secondary nodes, extending the network coverage. The system can be managed and configured through a dedicated mobile application, "RS WiFi."

Usage Features:
- Easy Setup: The system is designed for quick installation. Users download the "RS WiFi" app, connect the primary node to their modem and power, and then follow the app's setup wizard to configure the network name (SSID) and password.
- Mesh Network: Automatically creates a seamless Wi-Fi network by adding secondary nodes. The first node configured becomes the primary node, and subsequent nodes automatically join the mesh.
- Dual-band Operation: Supports both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, allowing devices to connect to the optimal frequency for performance and range.
- Smart Assistant for 2.4 GHz Devices: A feature in the app allows the mesh system to temporarily switch to the 2.4 GHz band for 30 minutes, facilitating the connection of devices like security cameras or printers that only support 2.4 GHz. After 30 minutes, the connection reverts to 5 GHz for other devices, while 2.4 GHz devices remain connected.
- Flexible Connectivity: Wired devices can connect to the LAN ports of any node. Wireless devices connect using the Wi-Fi name and password set during setup.
- AP Mode (Bridge Mode): The system can be configured to operate in AP mode, allowing it to extend an existing network without acting as the primary router. This is done through the "Internet Settings" in the RS WiFi app.
- Network Management via App: The "RS WiFi" app provides comprehensive control over the network, allowing users to:
- Change network name (SSID) and password.
- Add new mesh nodes by scanning a QR code.
- Remove existing nodes from the network.
- Monitor connected devices.
- View network status (Up Mbps, Down Mbps).
- LED Indicator Status:
- Primary Node:
- Fast blinking green: Connecting to the Internet.
- Solid green: Connected to the Internet.
- Solid red: Disconnected.
- Slow blinking green: Connecting to or searching for another node.
- Secondary Node:
- Fast blinking green: Connecting to the Internet.
- Solid green: Good connection.
- Solid yellow: Fair connection.
- Solid red: Disconnected.
- Optimal Placement Guidance: The LED indicator helps users determine the ideal location for secondary nodes to ensure a good connection (solid green).

Maintenance Features:
- Factory Reset: Nodes can be restored to factory settings by holding the Reset button on the primary node for approximately 6 seconds (until the LED blinks fast). This action resets all nodes in the system. Removing a node via the app also restores it to factory settings.
