ROCO universal relay (4 reversers)

The ROCO relay is, despite its small size, equipped
with 4 simultaneously operating contacts, which
can perform separate switching functions as re-
quired.
The relay operates in the bi-stable mode, meaning
that the switching contacts remain in one position
after each operation until a new activation causes
them to assume the alternate position.
The relay coils are not under power while they
are in either position due to the reliable ROCO
spring contact disconnect and no holding current
is present. The operation of the relay may be ac-
complished via the two position switch (10520 or
10521) or track contacts (42605).
It is possible to change the relay position by means
of the manual lever if necessary.
The relay is connected via a 3-conductor plug
which is designed for proper t with the ROCO
connector and cable system. This assures reliable
contacts and orderly wiring.
The example (g. 1) showing the use of the relay
for reverse loop control, is just one of many possi-
ble applications. The relay may be used wherever
logical and concurrent switching functions are to
performed for control of model railway operations.

Der Betriebsanschluss und die Funktionsübernah-
me des Relais erfolgt über dreipolige Direktsteck-
kontakte, die ihrerseits auf das ROCO-Stecker– und
Kabelsystem ausgelegt sind. Dies gewährleistet
neben einer sicheren Kontaktierung eine saubere
und übersichtliche Verdrahtung.
Das angeführte Beispiel (Fig. 1) einer Kehrschlei-
fensteuerung verdeutlicht die Anwendungsvielfalt
des ROCO-Relais. Grundsätzlich kann das Relais
überall dort eingesetzt werden, wo es gilt, logische
und gleichlaufende Schaltvorgänge zur Steuerung
einer Modellbahnanlage vorzunehmen.
