      There are several reasons why your RODCRAFT Trolley Jack might not be lifting the load. First, the descent valve may not be closed properly; close it by turning the pump rod clockwise. Second, there might not be enough oil; in that case, lower the saddle entirely and top up the hydraulic oil until it is 4 mm under the rim of the oil plug on the cylinder. Finally, there could be too much oil in the reservoir; lower the lifting arm entirely and check the oil level, removing oil if it's higher than 4mm underneath the oil plug.

      If your RODCRAFT Trolley Jack isn't holding the load, it could be due to a couple of reasons. The descent valve may not be closed properly. Turn the pump rod clockwise to close it properly. Also, the hydraulic oil might be contaminated with particles or dirt. As a quick fix, turn the pump rod clockwise, step on the front wheel, pull up the lifting arm on the saddle entirely, release the saddle, and lower the lifting arm entirely by turning the pump rod anti-clockwise. Then, close the descent valve again by turning the pump rod clockwise and try using the jack again.
