8) To change the source, repeat point 3) to 5).
9) If you like to record the mixed signal, you can simply do this by connecting a recorder to the
record-connectors (F).
10) On the right VU-meter appears the signal that you've selected with the VU2-signal select
switch (4). If you like to compare via the headphones and the left VU-meters the pre-fade
signal with the output signal, you can do this by putting the rotative switch (4) on the SUM-
position. By this the PFL-signal appears on the two left VU-meters and the output-signal on
the other two VU-meters.
11) If the DJ likes to to connect monitor-loudspeakers, he can use the monitor-output (I) for this.
SUBSONIC FILTER
The two master outputs and the monitoroutput have a subsonic filter to protect the bass loudspeakers
from DC and subsonic signals. This filter can not be switched off. The filter gives a reduction of 25dB
at 10Hz.
REMOTE CONTROL SWITCH OPTION
With the remote control switch, you can control for each channel one apparatus.
Switch (15) has three positions: 1) rest
2) push up
3) push down
With these three positions it is possible to control two functions in each apparatus.
- A turntable with a combinated start/stop can be started and stopped from one position.
- A cassette recorder with connection for remote control can for example be started by pushing down
the switch and stopped by pushing up the switch.
Consult the service manual of each apparatus to find the right way of connection.
