• Choosealocationwherethewooferandthetweetercanbemountedclosetoeach
other.
• Makesurethetweetersaremountedinaplacewheretheyareobstructedaslittleas
possible.
• Thepositionwherethemid/wooferwillbemountedmustbelevelinordertoprovidea
tight seal.
• Checkbehindthechosenmountinglocationstomakesurethatthereareno
obstructions in the way, e.g. window tracks, electrical wiring, gas tank etc.
• Usehigh-qualityspeakercablewithacross-sectionofatleast1,5mm²toconnectthe
crossover unit to the power amplier or to the head-unit.
• Beforemountingthecrossover,checkoutbothtweeterattenuationlevelsbysettingthe
jumper on the crossovers printed circuit board to either 0dB/-3dB/-6dB position.
• Yourcomponentsystemneedssometimeto“breakin”.Especiallythemid/woofer
speaker units will need some hours before the optimum sound quality is achieved.
• Thehigh-passcrossoverfrequencyshouldpreferablybesetinbetween70to110Hzfor
the RNC136/RNC136NEO and 60 to 90 Hz for the RNC166/RNC166NEO respectively.
