Roland E-35 - Keyboard Mode; Upper; Melody Intelligence

When in UPPER keyboard mode,
pressing the S EFFECTS button, this
newly selected section will cancel a part
of the one previously selected; the S.
EFFECTS mode will be played on most
of the keyboard, while the UPPER
mode on the remaining part. (The UP-
PER Led will light constantly, showing
that this section is enabled).
When proceeding from the selection
ARRANGER + LOWER at the left of
the split, and UPPER at the right of
the split, pressing S. EFFECTS key-
board mode, will produce the extension
of this section to the keyboard part
previously taken by the ARRANGER
+ LOWER sections (in this case the
corresponding Leds will flash, showing
that these sections are temporarily dis-
abled). The remaining part of the key-
board will continue to play with
UPPER mode. The same will occur us-
ing the M. DRUMS mode instead of S
EFFECTS.
By pressing M. DRUMS (or S EF-
FECTS) again, this section will be dis-
abled, the Leds ARRANGER and
LOWER which previously were flash-
ing will now light permanently, show-
ing that these sections are enabled
again. -
UPPER
-. To select the UPPER section, simply
press the corresponding keyboard
mode (UPPER button [29]}); the UP-
PER Led will light permanently con- ~
firming that the selection has been
made.
— MELODY INTELLIGENCE [35]:
a monophonic musical countermelo-
dy will sound, depending on the sin-
gle notes played by the UPPER and
the chord being played in the AR-
RANGER section.
Driicken Sie im UPPER-Keyboard-
Modus die S EFFECTS-Taste, tritt die-
ser neue Abschnitt an die Stelle des zu-
vor gewahlten; der S. EFFECTS-
Modus wird auf dem iberwiegenden
Teil des Keyboards gespielt, wahrend
der UPPER Modus im tibrigen Teil ver-
bleibt. (Die UPPER-Led leuchtet wei-
terhin, um anzuzeigen, daf dieser
Bereich aktiv ist).
Befinden Sie sich im Bereich ARRAN-
GER + LOWER links vom Splitpunkt,
und UPPER rechts vom Splitpunkt,
und drticken Sie dann den S.
EFFECTS-Keyboard Mode, erweitern
Sie diesen Part auf den Bereich, den Sie
zuvor mit den ARRANGER + LO-
WER Bereichen angewdahlt hatten (in
diesem Fall blinken die jeweiligen Leds,
um anzuzeigen, da diese Bereiche vor-
iibergehend ausgeschaltet wurden).
Der iibrige Teil der Tastatur bleibt wei-
terhin mit UPPER. Das gleiche gilt
auch bei Verwendung des M. DRUMS
Mode anstelle der S. EFFECTS.
Driicken Sie nochmals die S. EF-
FECTS (bzw. M. DRUMS)-Taste, wird
dieser Bereich auger Betrieb gesetzt
und die Leds fir den ARRANGER und
LOWER Mode, die bis dahin blinkten,
leuchten nun permanent und zeigen da-
mit an, daf diese Bereiche wieder ak-
tiviert sind.

UPPER
Um den UPPER-Bereich anzuwahlen,
driicken Sie den entsprechenden Key-
_ board Mode (UPPER Taste [29]).
Die UPPER-Led leuchtet).
— MELODY INTELLIGENCE [35]:
hier erklingt eine monophone zwei-
te Stimme, abhangig von den im
UPPER Bereich gespielten einzel-
nen Ténen und den Akkorden im
ARRANGER-Bereich.

Si vous étes en mode de clavier UPPER
et que vous pressez la touche S EF-
FECTS, cette section effacera une par-
tie de la section sélectionnée au
préalable.
Nous aurons donc pour la plus grande
extension du clavier, le mode SOUND
EFFECTS et pour la partie restante le
mode UPPER (la Led UPPER sera al-
lumée de facgon fixe, ce qui indiquera
que cette section est activée).
Au contraire, si vous avez une combi-
naison de type ARRANGER + LO-
WER dans la partie 4 gauche du point
de SPLIT, et UPPER dans la partie de
droite, en pressant par exemple S. EF-
FECTS, cette derniére couvrira toute
la partie qui etait occupée par les sec-
tions ARRANGER + LOWER; dans ce
cas les Leds relatives clignoteront et in-
diqueront ainsi que ces sections sont
momentanément désactivées. La par-
tie restante du clavier continuera 4
jouer UPPER.
Le méme résultat sera obtenu avec M
DRUMS au lieu de S. EFFECTS. Si
vous pressez 4 nouveau 8S. EFFECTS
(ou M DRUMS) cette section sera dé-
sactivée et les Leds ARRANGER et
LOWER qui clignotaient restent allu-
més, ce que indique que ces sections ont
été réactivées.
UPPER
Pour sélectionner la section UPPER,
sélectionnez le mode de clavier corres-
pondant (bouton UPPER [29]). Pour
confirmer la sélection, la Led UPPER
s’allumera de facon fixe.

jouera en deuxiéme voix musicale
monophonique selon les seules no-
