MANUAL DRUMS
To activate the MANUAL DRUMS, the
M DRUMS button [83] in section KEY-
BOARD MODE must be pressed (Led
on). :
The E-35 will always select “DRUM
KIT 1” when it is turned on.
To change the Drum Kit, press the SE-
LECT buttons [39] in the TONE sec-
tion until the corresponding M DRUM
KIT Led lights.
To select any of the 8 Drum Kits, press
a NUMBER button (1-8). The Display
will show the selected Drum Kit.
All the drum instruments can be play-
ed manually, from the keyboard. All the
drum instruments can be played dyna-
mically, that is the harder you play any
key the louder the drum will sound.
Each of these instruments can be play-
ed without or in conjunction with the
Music Style.
‘When the M DRUMS button is pressed
with the Style playing, the Accompa-
niment and Accomp. Bass will be can-
celled. Manual drums can then be
played along with the Style rhythm. If
the HOLD button was pressed (Led lit)
prior to pressing the M DRUMS but-
ton, the chord playing of the Style will
remain and cannot be changed until the
MANUAL DRUMS is turned off.
To cancel the Manual Drums, just press
the M DRUMS button again (Led off).
* Ifthe M DRUMS button is pressed
while ARRANGER On/Off Led
and/or LOWER Led is lit, the cor-
responding Leds will begin to flash.
The assignments of the drum sounds
are shown in the following illustration.
The number represents the MIDI note.

spielen, muss man erst die M DRUMS-
Taste [33] im KEYBOARD MODE-
Bedienfeld driicken (die entsprechende
Led leuchtet auf).
Der E-35 wird, nach dem Binschalten,
das “DRUM KIT 1” wahlen.
Zur Wahl der Drum-Kits driicken Sie
die SELECT-Tasten [39] im TONE-
Bedienfeld bis die entsprechende M
DRUM-KIT Led aufleuchtet. Geben Sie
danach zur Wahl eines der Drum-Kits
die Nummer durch Driicken der ent-
sprechenden NUMBER-Tasten ein.

Die Schlagzeuginstrumentenstimmen
des E-35 kénnen durch Anschlagen der
zugehérigen Tasten der Klaviatur ma-
nuell gespielt werden. Da die Tastatur
anschlagsdynamisch ist, wird der Ton
mt harterem Anschlagen der Tasten
auter.
Sie kénnen diese Instrumente sowohl
im Zusammenhang mit dem Rhythmus
oder auch ohne eingeschaltetem Rhyth-
mus spielen.
Driicken Sie die M DRUMS-Taste wah-
rend der Arranger spielt, werden der
automatische Bass und die Begleitung
unterdrickt. Jetzt kénnen Sie die
Schlagzeugstimmen zusatzlich zum lau-
fenden Rhythmus spielen. War jedoch
die HOLD-Funktion vor dem Driicken
der M DRUMS-Taste aktiviert, bleibt
der zuletzt gespielte Akkord bestehen
und kann erst wieder verandert wer-
den, wenn die MANUAL DRUMS aus-
geschaltet sind.
Um die MANUAL DRUMS-Funktion
auszuschalten, driicken Sie erneut die
M DRUMS-Taste (das Led erlischt).
* Wenn die M DRUMS-Taste ge-
driickt wird wahrend die ARRAN-
GER On/Off-Led und/oder die
LOWER-Led leuchten, fangen die
entsprechenden Leds zu blinken an.
Die folgende Abbildung zeigt die Zu-
weisung der Schlaginstrumentstimmen
zu den Tasten der Klaviatur. Die Num-
mern auf den Tasten entsprechen den
MIDI-Notennummern der jeweiligen
Taste.

Pour activer la batterie manuelle il faut
presser le bouton M DRUMS [33] de la
section KEYBOARD MODE (la Led
correspondante s’allume).
L’E-35 sélectionne toujours, 4 la mise
sous tension, le “DRUM KIT 1”. Pour
changer un Drum Kit, pressez les bou-
tons SELECT [89] dans la section TO-
NE, jusqu’é ce que la Led M DRUM
KIT ne s’allume.
Pour sélectionner l’un des 8 Drums
Kits, pressez le bouton de NUMBER
correspondant. L’afficheur indiquera le
Drum Kit choisi.
Les instruments de batterie/percussion
peuvent étre joués au clavier, dynami-
quement, c’est-a-dire que plus on enfon-
ce fort la touche plus le son est fort.
Chacun de ces instruments peut étre
utilisé seul ou conjointement a un style.
Quand Ja touche M DRUMS est pres-
sée pendant qu’un style est en fonction,
laccompagnement et la basse d’accom-
pagnement sont supprimés.
La batterie peut alors étre jouée ma-
nuellement en plus du rythme du sty-
le. Sila touche HOLD a été pressée (la
diode est allumée) avant la touche M
DRUMS, l'accord pilotant le style de-
meurera et ne pourra pas étre changé
tant que la fonction MANUAL DRUMS
n’est pas éteinte.
Pour annuler la batterie manuelle, pres-
sez la touche M DRUMS 4 nouveau (la
diode s’éteint).
* Si le bouton M DRUMS est pressé
alors que la Led ARRANGER
On/Off et/ou la Led LOWER est al-
lumée, les Leds de ces deux boutons
commenceront a clignoter.
L’assignation des sons de batterie est
représentée dans /’illustration suivan-
te. Le numéro est le numéro de note
MIDI.
