Making
the
Connections

Before
making
any
connections,
make
sure
you
have
the
power
on
your
instrument
lurned
off.

The
supplied
AC
Adaptor
To
the
Power
Outlet
Connect
the
supplied
AC
adaptor
and
the
damper
pedal
to
the
ep-9e.
The
Cord
Hook
conveniently
allows
you
to
secure
the
AC
adaptor
cord,
thus
preventing
it
from
accidentally
be-
coming
disconnected
while
the
unit
is
being
played.
If
you
wish
to
use
headphones,
insert
the
plug
into
either
of
the
two
jacks
on
the
front
of
the
instrument
(left
side
of
the
keyboard).
(The
ep-9e
can
accommodate
two
sets
of
headphones
at
the
same
time.)
Once
headphones
are
connected
to
either
(or
both)
of
these
jacks,
sound
is
no
longer
output
from
the
speakers.
This
makes
it
ideal
for
times
when
you
wish
to
play
without
disturbing
those
around
you
(late
at
night,
for
example).
Press
the
Power
Switch
to
turn
the
unit
on.
(The
red
indicator
will
light.)

now
ready
to
play
the
instrument.
