Roland HP 1700L - Attaching the Music Stand; Lid Operation; Moving the Unit Safely; Connecting the Power Cable

The music stand is packed in the shipping carton.
(D Hold the music stand horizontally and insert
it to the holder.
Caution!!
Be careful not to get your fingers caught when clos-
ing the lid. To close the lid, slowly pull it completely
forward, then lower it gently. Children may require
help in opening and closing the lid.
When wishing to swing the music stand to the rear,
always
hold
it
firmly
on
both
sides,
then
move
it

Moving
the
unit
gently.
To avoid accidents, always retract the adjusting
bolt, close the lid, disassemble the music stand and
unplug the power cord before moving the unit.
Moving the unit should be done by two people. The
unit (HP + Stand) is top-heavy, and should be
handled carefully to avoid dropping it. Be careful
not to drop or scratch any of the parts, or pinch your
fingers.
Connect the power cable
(D Check that the power switch (POWER) located on
the left side of the piano is in the off position (not
depressed).

ON OFF
To turn the power on, press the switch. To turn the
power off, press the switch again.
(3) Connect the included power cable to the AC inlet.
Use only the included power cable.
Be sure that the AC outlet provides the correct vol-
tage for your unit.
If you will not be using the unit for an extended
period of time, unplug the power cable from the AC
outlet.
