Transmit
Mode
There
are
two
Transmit
modes
for
sending
MIDI
messages.
Select
the
one
that
suits
your
purpose.

Pedal
messages
can
be
transmitted
and
received
in
any
mode.

This
mode
allows
the
piano
to
transmit
only
the
performance
messages
(information
concerned
with
playing
the
keyboard
or
pressing
the
pedals)
to
the
external
MIDI
device.
Even
if
you
change
Tones
on
the
piano,
Tone
Selection
messages
(Program
Change)
are
not
transmitted.

Mode
2
This
mode
allows
the
piano
to
transmit
various
setting
messages,
along
with
the
normal
performance
information.
When
you
select
a
new
Tone,
the
corresponding
Program
Change
will
be
transmitted.
This
mode
may
be
convenient
when
recording
performances
into
a
sequencer.
1.
Press
the
Chorus
button
while
holding
the
Transpose
button
down,

Select
the
Transmit
Mode
with
the
|+/-]
buttons,
3.
Press
the
Transpose
button
and
confirm
that
the
indicator
goes
out.
The
Transmit
Mode
you
have
selected
here
will
be
retained
until
the
piano
is
switched
off.
When
the
piano
is
switched
on,
MODE
1
will
be
automatically
selected.
