Connecting
with
a
Computer
The
HP
730/530e/330e
is
equipped
with
a
Computer
connector.
By
connecting
a
cable
between
this
connector
and
the
serial
port
on
a
computer,
performance
information
can
be
communicated
between
the
piano
and
the
computer.
1.
Switch
off
the
piano.
2.
Connect
a
computer
cable
(RSC-15APL/RSC-
15AT/RSC-15N:
optionally
available)
between
the
serial
port
on
the
computer
and
the
Computer
connector
on
the
piano.
3.
Set the
Computer
switch
on
the
piano
to
Mac,
PC-1,
or
PC-2.
4.
Match
the
baud
rate
(data
transmission
speed
used
by
the
computer
and
the
HP-
730/530e/330e)
of
the
computer
and
the
software.

Connect
the
Modem
Port
(or
Printer
Port)
on
the
Apple
Macintosh
Series
to
the
Computer
connector
on
the
piano
using
the
computer
cable
(RSC-15APL:;
optionally
available),
then
set
the
Computer
switch
to
Mac.
Use
Patch
Bay
on
the
Apple
Macintosh
to
set
the
Interface
Type
(clock
of
the
MIDI
Interface)
to
1
MHz.
Setup
for
the
IBM
PC
Connect
the
serial
port
(such
as
COMI
or
COM2)
on
the
IBM
PC
with
the
Computer
connector
on
the
piano
using
a
computer
cable
(RSC-15AT:
optionally
available),
then
set
the
Computer
switch
to
PC-2.
Then,
set
the
Computer
switch
so
it
matches
the
Baud
Rate
of
the
software
to
be
used.
When
the
baud
rate
is
31.25
kHz,
set
it
to
PC-1,
and
when
it
is
38.4
kHz,
set
it
to
PC-2.
