Saving Sounds
and
Settings
Any
soimd you've created
will
be
lost if you turn
off the power or
switcli
to
a different sound.
You can
save the sounds
you've made in the built-in
User Memory or on a
DATA Card (sold
separately). The
process of saving a
sound is called a "write
operation."
Press
the [UTILITY] button
to light up the
indicator.

Press
the FUNCTION SELECT
button that is under "WRITE" in tlie display
to call up the Write
screen.

write destination.
Press [UTILITY] again

return
to the Write screen.

[ENTER] button to perform
the write operation.
To cancel, press [EXIT].

The message
"User Memory Write Protected"
may appear when executing a ivrite operation. Tliis
message
means that the write destination
is write-protected, and cannot
be
written
to
{<^
p.
72).
If
this happens,
you can
press [UTILITY] to override the
write-protect and
force
the
data to be written.

When
the write operation is
finished, the message
"
L-UMPLETE"
appears, and
you
will
then
see the Play screen for the write
destination.
