Step 4:
Once the electrical tape is placed around the metal edge to provide insulation, the
replacement LCD can be installed. The replacement has mounting dimensions
that differ from the original LCD. In turn it does not have the same footprint as
the original. Mount the LCD using only 2 of the screws on the right side where the
electrical tape is. The other 2 screws are not used since the left side does not align
with the mounting holes. The 2 screws are sufficient enough to secure the LCD in
place.
Be sure to align the LCD properly before completely securing it in place.
Avoid over tightening the screws.
