the button 24 both
forwards
and downwards, this
will
release
the
power
pack
at the right
side and
remove
the
power pack
by
pivoting
it
around
the
locating catches
at
the
ldt
(fi4s.

& 5).
The
power
pack
may now
be
removedfrom
the
magazine.
Insert
5 xAA
size cells,
preferably
NiCad recharyeable
cells.Thesewill
provide
enough
powerfor
about 1200
u-
posures
(at
room
temperature)
and
may be rapidly
recharged,
especiallywith
the Rollei rapid
charyer It
is
also
possible
to
use non-rechargeable
Manganese
Alkali
batteries,
but their
capacity
is sufficient
onlyfor
about
100-200
exposures,
when
using
brand-new
batteries.
Refit the
power
pack
by locating it
in the left rear
corner
of the
magazine and
gently
butfirmly closing down
the
right
side until the catch locks.

Note: Since
all NiCad cells can
dischargewhilst not
in
use,
it is
advisable to re-charge
