(a) Remove the applicable oil system tubes (REF. TASK 79-00-00-000-801).R

(11)Remove the horizontal turbine-firewall shield assembly (shield assembly).
(a) Remove the two bolts (10) the two washers (11) and the angle bracket (12) that attach the
shield assembly (7) to the splitline brackets (13).
(b) Lower the aft end of the shield assembly (7) to disengage the turbine bearing scavenge-oil
fitting (14) and the turbine bearing pressure oil fitting (15) from shield assembly (7).
(c) Pull the shield assembly (7) rearward to separate the bent flange (20) from the turbine and
exhaust collector support (19).
(d) Remove the washer (16) and spacer (17) from the turbine bearing scavenge-oil fitting (14)
and the washer (18) from the turbine bearing pressure oil fitting (15).
