Lightly
degrease
the
outer
edge
of
the
seal
and
the
inner
edge
of
t.~e
saal
cover.
Note
-
Ensure
that
the
seal
is
not
saturated
in
degreaser
as
this
could
have
a
detrimental
effect
on
the
rubber
and
the
bonding
of
the
carbon
seal
to
the
rubber
bellows.
4.
Apply
a
thin
coat
of
11
Silastic
11
to
the
inner
edge
of
the
seal
cover,
allow
approximately
10
minutes
before
pressing
the
seal
into
the
seal
cover.
5 .
Reassemble
the
coolant
pu.~p
as
described
in
Section
L4
of
the
relevant
Workshop
Manual.
