A. The guide rod can be replaced by removing the cap assembly
on the top of the decapper body. Please pay attention to the
position of the springs etc. Refer to picture below.
How do I replace the pistol shuttle for the rifle shuttle and spring?
The shuttles can be removed by unscrewing the middle cap assembly from
the threaded body. The shuttle and spring are replaced as a single unit.
My Decapper is stalling on some cases / on startup.
The PWM power supply uses a “Hiccup mode as a safety measure. Adjusting
the speed controller slightly will prevent this. Most of the hiccups will occur
when the gearmotor is new and not run in. This is normal. Once the
gearmotor is run in it will stop.
The Decapper motor uses carbon brushes. The brushes are oversized, this
gives a longer life, but means the carbon brushes can take longer to bed in
(like running in a new car motor), if the stalling / hiccupping is a problem, we
