  • Two-Person Installation: The installation of the product requires two persons for safety and ease of handling, especially when lifting the door assembly.
  • Adjustable Frame: The door can be adjusted within the frame to ensure the gap between the top of the door and the horizontal main frame is parallel. This adjustment also ensures the door lifts away from the bottom of the horizontal main frame.
  • Magnetic Closure: Features a door magnet and frame magnet to ensure full contact and secure closure of the pivot door.
  • Cover Caps: Screw cover caps are provided to conceal fixings for a clean aesthetic.
  • Top Caps: The top caps have grooves and can be shortened by snapping off at these points, with a small amount of sealant recommended to keep them in place.

Installation Requirements and Recommendations:

  • Tiled and Grouted Area: The installation area (walls and floor/tray) must be fully tiled and grouted before measuring the tray and commencing installation.
  • Level Surfaces: Walls should be vertical, and the floor/tray should be level to achieve optimal adjustment and fitment.
  • Soft Protective Surface: During handling, the glass should be rested on a soft protective surface (e.g., cardboard, carpeting) to prevent damage.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Recommended to wear PPE during installation.
  • Sealant Application:
    • A bead of bathroom sealant (width of the wall profile) is required between the tiled wall and tray where the wall profile is positioned.
    • The gap between the tray and wall profile must be sealed on the inside.
    • The wall profile must be sealed vertically, both internally and externally, where it meets the tiles.
    • The base of the enclosure must be sealed to the top of the tray from wall to wall on the outside only.
    • Crucially, DO NOT seal the base of the product to the inside, as this can cause leakage.
    • Allow 24 hours for the sealant to fully cure before using the shower.
  • No Re-working Glass: Toughened safety glass should not be re-worked.
  • Hidden Utilities Check: Before drilling, check for hidden electrical cables and/or water pipes.
  • Tray Measurement: It is critical to accurately measure the shower tray before installation, referring to the provided tray size tables. Incorrect measurement may lead to the product not fitting, and the manufacturer will not be liable.
  • Wall Fixings: Wall plugs are supplied for brick or block walls. For plasterboard walls, appropriate wall fixings must be purchased separately.
  • Spirit Level Use: A spirit level is essential to ensure wall profiles are completely vertical during installation.

Maintenance Features

  • General Maintenance: Products are generally maintenance-free.
  • Lubrication: Wheel assemblies and other moving parts (like hinges) may require lubrication periodically.
  • Cleaning:
    • Clean with a mild detergent diluted in water, then polish with a soft cloth.
    • For hard water areas, use a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. Apply for approximately 5 minutes, then rinse with warm water to remove limescale residue.
    • A quality silicone spray is recommended.
  • Cleaning Restrictions (Dont's):
    • Do not use acidic-based products unsuitable for cleaning enamel surfaces.
    • Do not use abrasive cleaners, cleaners with bleach or solvents, as these will adversely affect aluminium profiles.
    • Do not use scouring pads, powder, or any sharp instruments when cleaning the enclosure.

Troubleshooting Guide:

The manual includes a troubleshooting guide for common issues such as leaking, enclosure alignment on the tray, door not operating correctly, and glass door alignment, offering solutions like checking sealant application, ensuring level surfaces, verifying vertical wall profiles, and adjusting door magnets or pivot points.
