Usage Features:
- Installation: The mirror is designed for permanent wall installation. It comes with a 3.6-4.3ft long power cable and a U.S. 3-pin plug for connection to a wall socket. Alternatively, it can be hardwired to a wall switch. Installation requires basic tools such as a ruler, spirit level, electrical drill, screwdriver, and hammer. Spacers are provided to ensure the mirror lies flat against the wall. The installation process involves marking and drilling holes, inserting nylon plugs, screwing in screws, and then hanging the mirror.
- Electrical Safety: Installation should be performed by a qualified/registered electrician. The product is suitable for zone 2 and external zones, but not for zone 0 or 1, nor for saunas, steam rooms, or shower cubicles. The electrical supply must be turned off during installation and maintenance. The mirror adopts a three-pin plug, requiring connection to a ground wire.
- Light On/Off and Color Change:
- Power on, then press the touch button once to turn on the warm light.
- Press the touch button a second time to change to white light.
- Press the touch button a third time to change back to warm white light.
- Press the touch button a fourth time to turn the light off.
- Dimming: After turning on the light, press and hold the touch button to adjust the brightness.
- Anti-fog Function: For models with the anti-fog function, press the dedicated anti-fog touch button (represented by three wavy lines) to activate defogging.
- Power Management: It is recommended to turn off the power supply during storms to prevent damage to electrical components. Avoid switching off the power supply directly during normal operation to prevent damage to electrical elements. Turn off the power supply if the product is not used for a long time.
- Protection: Do not remove the protective film or corner protectors until the mirror is completely installed.
Maintenance Features:
- Cleaning: Always switch off the power before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth or cotton to wipe the mirror to avoid scratching. Avoid using harsh, corrosive, or abrasive cleaners. Do not allow water to get into the mirror or submerge it in water. Wipe off any water spillages immediately with a soft, damp cloth.
- Environment: Keep the mirror dry and avoid damp environments.
- Handling: Do not put hard and sharp materials directly against the mirror surface during operation, as this may result in current leakage and personal injury.
- Warranty: The product comes with a 1-year warranty, which covers manufacturing defects but excludes artificial damage and normal wear and tear. The warranty period is not extended or renewed by repair or replacement of parts.
