Function Description
The ROTAI RT5780 Leisure Massage Chair is designed to provide a relaxing and therapeutic massage experience. It offers various massage programs and techniques to alleviate muscle tension and promote overall well-being. The chair features a control panel for easy operation, allowing users to select different massage modes, adjust intensity, and control the chair's recline and legrest positions. It also includes a speaker for audio playback and a mobile phone holder for convenience. The chair is intended for personal use in a home environment.

- Installation Clearance:
- 7cm clearance for backrest reclination.

Usage Features
Control Panel and Controller Instructions:
The chair is operated via a control panel with a rotary switch and several buttons.
- Rotary Switch (Volume up/down): When connected to power, rotate clockwise to increase Bluetooth music/prompt voice volume, and counterclockwise to decrease it.
- Power On/Off / Auto Programs Shift:
- Short press to power on the massage chair.
- Short press again to toggle among 6 Auto massage programs: Recovery, Extension, Relax, Refresh, Neck & Shoulder, Waist & Spine.
- Long press to power off the massage chair.
- Prompt Voice On/Off: Controls the prompt voice function. When Bluetooth is connected, turning off the prompt voice will deactivate Bluetooth music.
- Manual Massage Programs Shift: When the massage chair is on/in auto massage mode, short press this button to start a manual massage program. Users can toggle among 4 massage techniques: Kneading, Knocking, Shiatsu, Kneading & Knocking.
- Whole Body/Point Massage: In manual massage mode, press this button to hold the rollers at the current position (point mode). Press again to stop point mode and start whole body mode.
- Zero Gravity Position: Press this button to put the chair in the zero gravity position. Press again to exit zero gravity.
- Back Up: When the massage chair is on, press and hold to raise the backrest.
- Back Down: When the massage chair is on, press and hold to recline the backrest.
- Back Rollers Up: In point massage mode, press and hold this button to move the rollers up.
- Back Rollers Down: In point massage mode, press and hold this button to move the rollers down.
- Tips: When prompt voice is on, there is a voice prompt with each operation.
Installation and Setup:
- Unpacking: Unpack the box, remove the massage chair assembly unit and accessories, and verify all components against the packing list.
- Mobile Phone Holder Installation: Remove the decor nut from the mobile phone holder on the left armrest, install the holder into the armrest, and turn the nut clockwise to secure it.
- Power Connection: Take the power cord from the accessory box, connect it to the massage chair and a wall outlet, then turn on the power switch. Ensure the power cord is straightened to avoid tangles or damage.
- Commissioning: Use the control panel to recline the backrest to its lowest position and lift the legrest to its top position, ensuring adequate clearance. Return the backrest to its default position after commissioning and turn off the power switch.
- Position & Placement: Ensure adequate clearance (7cm for backrest recline, 33cm for legrest extension/chair sliding). Keep 1 meter away from electronic devices to avoid signal interference.
- Floor Protection: Place a carpet or soft mat underneath the chair to prevent floor damage.
- Grounding: The product must be grounded with a 3-wire cord and a grounding plug, connected to a properly installed and grounded outlet according to local codes.
Safety Precautions:
- General: Read all instructions carefully. Improper operation can cause severe personal injury or property damage.
- Prohibited Actions: Do not disassemble, fix, or modify the product yourself. Do not operate with damp hands. Do not spill liquids on the control panel. Do not lay heavy objects on the control panel. Do not use outdoors. Do not use in humid or dusty environments, or where any part of the body is in contact with plumbing or similar ground. Do not operate with blocked air openings. Do not store near heat or open flame. Do not stand on or stack heavy objects on the legrest. Do not fall asleep while operating. Avoid using under the influence of alcohol. Never drop or insert objects into openings.
- Not Suitable For: Individuals with electronic medical instruments (e.g., pacemakers), those undergoing treatment or feeling unwell, those with malignant tumors/abscesses (need supervision), pregnant or menstruating women, those with osteoporosis or fracture spine, those with skin diseases or injuries, those with high fever.
- Children and Vulnerable Persons: Close supervision is necessary when used by children (aged 8+), invalids, or disabled persons. Children should not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be done by children without supervision.
- Power Cord: Always unplug after use and before cleaning. Unplug during thunder/lightning storms. Do not operate with a damaged cord or plug. Do not use damp hands to unplug. Do not drag, squeeze, overbend, pull hard, or twist the cord. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces. Do not carry by the supply cord.
- Usage: Only for users weighing below 120kg. Use only for its intended purpose. Not for therapeutic treatment. Only one person at a time. Do not use right after a meal. Remove accessories from arms and empty pockets before use. Check upholstery for damage. Stop use immediately if abnormal discomfort occurs. Recommended use is 20 minutes per session. Ensure no obstacles behind the chair and enough clearance before adjusting backrest/legrest. Ensure no excessive load on backrest/legrest besides the user. Ensure no children, pets, or objects under backrest/legrest. Be seated properly. Do not drag or push the chair or roll on its casters on wood floor or carpet.
- Abnormalities: If smoke or unusual smell occurs, stop immediately and unplug. If the product experiences unusual power ON/OFF, hot power cord, or other abnormal symptoms, stop use, switch off, disconnect plug, and contact distributors/suppliers for repair.
Maintenance Features
Care and Maintenance Instructions:
- Stain Treatment:
- For back panel, armrest, legrest, plastic parts, or air hose: Spot clean with mild detergent foam, then wipe with a dry cleaning cloth.
- For control panel, power box: Spot clean with a dry cleaning cloth.
- For back cushion or pillows: Use a water-based upholstery cleaner, wipe with a moist cloth, then air dry.
- Prohibited Maintenance Actions: Do not use benzene, thinner, or other solvents (may cause fading or damage). Do not iron upholstery. Do not allow detergent to enter the power box.
- Storage Methods: Keep the product free from dust. Cover with a dust-free cloth if not in use for a long period.
- Environmental Considerations: Do not leave exposed to direct sunlight for long periods (may cause fading or damage). Do not use in high moisture environments (e.g., near swimming pools or bathrooms) to prevent electric shock. Keep away from heated surfaces to prevent fire hazards.
- Long-term Storage: If not in use for a long period, cover the chair, coil the power cord, and place the unit in an environment free of dust and moisture.
- Servicing: All servicing except basic care and maintenance should be performed by an authorized dealer or service center. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, service agent, or a similarly qualified person to avoid hazards.
