Overview

This document describes the KJ100G-C9 Air Purifier, a device designed to improve indoor air quality.

Function Description

The air purifier operates by drawing in air through an air inlet, passing it through a filter, and then releasing purified air. It features a control panel that displays PM2.5 levels, filter reminders, and current speed settings. The device offers multiple operating modes, including Auto, Manual, and Sleep, and incorporates a UV light function for enhanced purification. A timer function allows users to set specific operating durations.

Upon connecting the power, the machine starts in auto mode. After a 30-second preheating period, the air quality indicator displays the current air quality, and the device automatically selects an appropriate fan speed. The three-digit digital tube defaults to displaying PM2.5 data. In auto mode, the wind speed is automatically controlled based on sensor data, with a maximum speed of level 3. In manual mode or sleep mode, users can adjust the fan speed, with a maximum speed of turbo. The UV lamp is off by default but can be manually turned on at any time.

The device includes a filter reset function. After 1800 hours of operation, a filter prompt light will illuminate, indicating that the filter needs to be replaced. Pressing the sleep button for 3 seconds will reset the filter indicator, turning it off and restarting the timing. The timer function allows users to set the operating time from 1 to 8 hours. After setting, the timing interface displays for 5 seconds before returning to the PM2.5 display state. To cancel an active timer, press the timing button for 3 seconds. Once the set running time is completed, the machine automatically shuts down.

Usage Features

The air purifier is designed for indoor use only and should not be operated in special outdoor environments. It is crucial to use a compatible power adapter and avoid connecting the power plug with wet hands to prevent fire, shock, or injury. The device should be placed on a stable surface to prevent tipping.

Getting Started:

  1. Invert the equipment after unpacking.
  2. Rotate the base cover counter-clockwise to remove the filter.
  3. Remove the transparent packaging bag from the filter and properly dispose of it.
  4. Open the packaging bag of the filter and insert it back into the filter compartment according to the direction.
  5. Install the bottom cover clockwise.
  6. Connect the power adapter to the corresponding port on the purifier and then plug it into a power outlet. It is important to remove all plastic wrappers from products and store them out of reach of infants or children, or dispose of them immediately, to prevent choking hazards.

Control Panel: The control panel features a PM2.5 display, filter reminder, and speed display (Levels 1-3). Buttons include Auto mode, Speed, UV, and Timer. The indicator lamp and ring lamp change colors based on air quality: Blue for Good, Orange for Moderate, and Red for Bad.

Maintenance Features

Before performing any maintenance, always disconnect the power adapter.

Filter Maintenance:

  • Reference time for changing filter: Approximately once a year. This duration can vary depending on usage and environmental conditions (e.g., contaminated zones, smoking areas). The filter should be changed if the cleaning effect is diminished.
  • Cleanup routines (biweekly): Use a soft brush, dry cotton cloth, or cleaner to clean the surface of the filter. Do not use water to wash the filter. Avoid pressing firmly or pulling the filter, as it can easily break or deform. If damaged, replace it with a new one.

External Surface Maintenance:

  • Use a dry, soft fabric to wipe the surface, inlets, and outlets.
  • Do not use chemical cleaning agents.

Long-term Idle Storage:

  • Cut off the power.
  • Clean the surface and filter.
  • Store in a dry and cool place, covered with a plastic bag.

Troubleshooting (Frequently Asked Questions):

  • Smell: If the filter is too dirty, replace it. If the purifier is used in moist conditions or water infiltrates the filter, replace it. If unsuitable spice is added to the spice box, replace the spice box. If the filter is reused after a long time without cleaning, replace it. If a burning odor is detected, immediately stop the purifier, cut off power, and contact the manufacturer for repair.
  • No wind: The first gear is a sleep mode, so only a gentle breeze may be felt. If the machine is out of operation, check the power supply system, replace the power adapter, or contact the manufacturer for service.
  • Ineffectiveness: If the filter no longer has an effect, replace it. The device may be ineffective if used in inappropriate or oversized places.
  • Three gear indicator light up at the same time: This indicates a machine malfunction. Immediately cut off the power and contact the manufacturer for service.
