Why Router Technologies Router Raizer RZ100 will not raise router high enough?

  If your Router Technologies Power Tool router isn't raising high enough, it might be due to an improperly set turret stop on the router. Make sure the adjustable stop is retracted as high as possible and the turret stop is rotated so the shortest post is under the adjustable stop. Another possibility is that you've reached the maximum plunge depth of the router. All plunge routers have a predetermined plunge stroke that the Router-Raizer cannot increase. With the router fully compressed, check the amount of plunge post still visible. If more than 1/16" to 1/4" of the post is visible, it is recommended to call 1-866-266-1293. You may need a collet extension to safely run some bits.

  If the Speed Wrench on your Router Technologies Power Tool turns hard, it could be due to a few reasons. First, check the pocket in the table top or insert plate to ensure it's counter sunk deep enough, the mainshaft head must rotate freely. Second, the lead screw may need lubrication; re-lubricate it using the supplied red grease or heavy wheel bearing grease. Lastly, dry router plunge posts can also cause this issue; clean the posts and lubricate them with STP® MOTOR OIL TREATMENT.

  If your Router Technologies Power Tool router isn't raising or lowering, the drive nut may be loose, preventing rotation. Retighten the drive nut on the router. Alternatively, the router plunge posts might be dry. Clean the posts and lubricate them with STP® MOTOR OIL TREATMENT.
