The ROUTERBOARD is a h igh p erformance m ulticore r outer w ith t welve G igabit p orts and four SFP cages . Several models ar e

(36 cores, 12x Gigabit ports, 2x2GB RAM), CloudCoreRouter 1036 --‐ 12G --‐ 4S --‐ EM (32 cores, 12x Gigabi t ports, 2x8GB RAM),
CloudCoreRouter 1016 --‐ 12G (16 cores , 12x Gigabit ports, 2x1GB RAM) ,
First use
The device come s preinstalled with RouterOS a nd is ready t o use. Device is compatible with RouterOS v6 and newer, if your
device comes preinstalle d wit h a n earlier version, please upgrade before using it .
The Ethernet ports 1 has a default I P address for connecting: 192.168.88. 1 username is admin and ther e is no password .
Pleas e connect with your web browser to this I P address and choos e Webfig to configur e it. The device doesn’t have any
other configurati on applie d by default, please connect t o it, a nd set up WAN IP addresses, user password, firewall etc.

Resetting the device
In c ase y ou w ish t o r eturn t he d evice t o it s o rigina l c onfiguration , y ou c an use the RESET button. Hold this button during boo t
time until LED lights sta rt flashing, then release the button to reset RouterOS configuration. You can use this procedure if
you have forgotten the password to access the device, or simpl y wish to return the unit to its default configuration state.
Buttons and Jumpers
• RouterBOOT reset butt on (image R eset1 ) has several functions:
 Hold the button before powering on the device, and at power up, the button will force load the backup boot
loader . Continue holding the button for the other two functions o f this button:
 Release the butt on whe n gree n LED starts flashing, to rese t RouterOS configuration. To no t load backup boot
loader , y ou c an s tart h olding t he b utton a fter p ower i s a lready a pplied
 Release the butt on after LED is no longer flashing (~20 seconds ) to cause device to look fo r Netinstall servers
(required fo r reinstalling RouterOS ove r network)
• RouterOS reset jumper hole (image Reset2): reset s RouterOS software to defaults. Hold screwdriver pressed to thi s
rese t hole, and boo t the device. Hol d screwdriver i n place until RouterOS configurati on is cleare d (10 seconds).
Operating System Support
Currently teste d operating system is MikroTik RouterOS (starting from versi on 6).
