Why is the cylinder rod not moving on my Rover R 21 LS?

If the cylinder rod on your Rover Log Splitter isn't moving, several issues could be the cause. Check if the shipping plugs are still in the hydraulic hoses; if so, disconnect the hoses, remove the plugs, and reconnect them. Also, the oil level might be incorrect, so check it. Other potential causes, such as a broken drive shaft, improperly adjusted set screws, a loose shaft coupling, damaged gear sections, a damaged relief valve, blocked hydraulic lines, a damaged control valve, or a blocked control valve, require assistance from an authorized service dealer or flushing and cleaning the hydraulic system.
