What to do if the seed is not in the seeding cut when using RTP Outdoors Farm Equipment?
    • J
      John KimAug 5, 2025
If the seed isn't in the seeding cut, several factors could be at play. First, ensure the machine is set to the correct working depth. Next, check for blockages or dirt in the seeding pipes/funnels and clean them if necessary. If conditions are too wet, it's best to postpone seeding. Lastly, verify that the seeding valve isn't too open; if it is, close it.

Why are my seeding cuts poorly shaped with RTP Outdoors Farm Equipment?
    • D
      Donna WashingtonAug 10, 2025
Poorly shaped seeding cuts can result from several issues. The seeding discs may be worn and need replacement. The ground may be unsuitable; if it's too dry, reduce the working depth and aerate/irrigate, then till again later. Worn bearings on the seeding discs can also cause this, so replace them if necessary. Additionally, ensure the link is correctly adjusted and that the disks are not too tight. Applying an optional coulter knife kit might also help.

What to do if seeding cuts are not closed using RTP Outdoors Genesis 3?

If the seeding cuts aren't closing, it could be due to a few reasons. The slits might be too wide, in which case you should reduce the working depth. Also, ensure the rear wheel can move freely. Finally, check for worn seeding discs, and replace them if needed.

Why doesn't RTP Outdoors Genesis 3 reach the required depth?
    • P
      Paula HicksAug 23, 2025
If the machine isn't reaching the required depth, first, check that the top link is correctly adjusted. If there are too many dead leaves and roots in the top layer of the field, consider applying an optional Coulter knife kit.

Why is seed spoilt from the seed tray in my RTP Outdoors Genesis 3?
    • M
      marthareevesAug 29, 2025
Seed spoilage from the seed tray can occur if the tractor tensioning is too low. To resolve this, put the drawing arms into a higher hole.
