Hood Lift JK Wrangler 07 and up

PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO INSTALL THIS PRODUCT

DRILLING REQUIRED

Kit Includes: (2) Hood Lift Strut

(2) Ball Stud

(2) L Bracket w/Ball Stud

(4) Sheet Metal Screw

(4) Star Washer

Step 1: Locate the factory hole in the vertical brackets coming from the firewall.

Step 2: Beginning with the passenger side, open the factory hole to 5/16”. (Fig.1)

Step 3: To prevent corrosion, cover exposed metal from drilling with paint. (Fig.2)

Step 4: Install a ball stud and nylock nut and tighten. (Fig.4, 5 & 6)
