INSTALLATION GUIDELINES
WARNING: The installation of this stove must
comply with state and local requirements and be
inspected by the state or local building inspector, if
required.
CHIMNEY
The chimney system your stove is connected to
plays some key roles in the performance of your
stove .
1. The top of the chimney should be at least three
(3) feet higher than the roof at the point of exit. With
pitched roofs, the top of the chimney must be at
least two (2) feet higher than any point on the roof
within ten (10) feet of the chimney. Check with your
local building Inspector for local building code
compliances.
2. Only one stove should be connected to a flue.
This will help assure proper drafts and the airtight-
ness of the flue system.
