factory-built or a Class A masonry chimney. Only
(UL) Underwriters Laboratories listed and ap-
proved factory-built chimneys should be used.
Installations of these chimneys should be made
exactly to the manufacturer's specifications.
NOTE: A stove pipe should never be used for a
chimney.
Masonry chimneys must be lined for safety. A
masonry chimney should be inspected and
cleaned before installation and burning of your
stove.
Many performance problems that occur with
