TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE SOLUTION
Line will not advance Line is welded to itself.
Not enough line on spool.
Line is worn too short.
Line is tangled on spool.
Lubricate with silicone spray.
Install more line. Refer to Line Replacement earlier in
this manual.
Pull lines while alternately pressing down on and releasing
bump knob.
Remove line from spool and rewind. Refer to Line
Replacement earlier in this manual.
Grass wraps around boom
housing and string head
Cutting tall grass at ground
level.
Cut tall grass from the top down to prevent wrapping.
Grass deector is difcult to
adjust
Debris stuck to the grass
deector is causing an
obstruction.
Scrape the debris off the grass deector being careful
not to damage it. Keep hands away from the line cut-
off blade.
