What to do if Ryobi Log Splitter has oil leaks around cylinder ram?
- MMichael FritzAug 1, 2025
If you notice oil leaks around the cylinder ram or from other points in your Ryobi Log Splitter, it could be due to several reasons. Firstly, air might be sealed in the hydraulic system during operation; in this case, loosen the bleed screw by 3-4 rotations before operating the log splitter. Secondly, ensure that the bleed screw is tightened before moving the log splitter. Thirdly, check if the oil drain bolt is not tight and tighten it. If the hydraulic control valve assembly and/or seals are worn, you will need to contact the dealer.
