RULES FOR SAFE OPERATION
Q Do not attempt to stop the saw blade by pushing the
work piece against its side.
Q Ensure the machine is disconnected from power
before servicing.
Q Ensure that when turning on (e.g. after servicing) no
tools or loose parts are left on or in the machine.
Q Turn power OFF if the machine is not in use. Always
unplug the saw from outlet when not in use in a long
time.
CUTTING HAZARD EVEN WITH THE CUTTING
TOOL IS STATIONARY!
Q Wear gloves when changing the cutting blade.
Q Store the saw blade(s) in such manner that nobody
can get hurt.
RISK OF KICKBACK (WORK PIECE IS

AGAINST THE OPERATOR):
Q Ensure the riving knife is correctly set when working
in table saw mode.
Q Do not jam work pieces.
Q Make sure the saw blade is suitable for the work
piece material.
Q Cut thin or thin-walled work pieces only with fine-
toothed saw blades.
Q Always use sharp saw blades.
Q If in doubt, check work piece for inclusion of foreign
matter (e.g. nails or screws).
Q Cut only stock of dimensions that allow for safe and
secure holding while cutting.
Q Never cut bundes or more than one work pieces
at a same time-the individual pieces cannot be
properly secured and controlled. Risk of personal
injury if individual pieces are caught by the saw blade
uncontrolled.
Q Remove small cutoffs, scrap, etc, from the work area-
when doing so the saw blade must be at a complete
stop.
ENTANGLEMENT HAZARD!
Q Be careful that no part of your body or your clothing
can be caught by and drawn into the machine. (no
neck ties, no gloves, no garments with loose-fitting
sleeves; tie back long hair).
Q Never attempt to cut any work pieces which contain
- ropes
- strings
- cords
- cables or
- wires, or to which any of the above are attached.

recommended
RISK OF INJURY BY INHALED WOOD DUST!
Q Some types of wood dust (e.g. beech, oak, ash) is
harmful to health when inhaled. Use a dust collector
whenever possible. The dust collector must comply
with the data stated in the technical specifications.
Q Minimize the amount of wood dust escaping from the
machine and the job site into the environment:
- remove wood dust deposit in the work area (do
not blow away);
- fix any leakages on the dust collector;
- ensure good ventilation.
