The lanyard snaps into the battery compartment of
most RYOBI
™
ONE+
™
18 volt portable hand-held
tools and provides a convenient method of storage
and transportation, as shown in Figures 1 and 2.
CAUTION:
Remove any blades, bits, or other sharp ob-
jects from the tool before attempting to store
or carry with the plug-in lanyard. Do not use
the lanyard with larger tools such as miter
saws. Use the lanyard only in RYOBI
™
ONE+
™
brand tools. Do not exceed maximum holding
weight of 10 lbs.

INSTALLING/REMOVING THE
LANYARD
See Figure 3.
To install:
n Remove the battery pack from the tool.
n Insert the lanyard stem into the tool’s battery
compartment and press until the latches snap
into place.
To remove:
n Depress the latches on both sides of the lanyard
to release it from the tool.
