1. Sit down on the seat, and lift the seat
DGMXVWPHQWOHYHU
2. While holding the lever, slide the seat to
the preferred position.
3. Release the lever, and make sure that the
seat is locked in position before operating
the product.
WARNING
Ensure that the seat is locked into place
before operating the mower. A seat that is
not secure can cause the operator to shift
and lose control of the mower and result in

Before using the product, raise the deck
height to the cutting position best suited for
your lawn.
NOTE: To prevent scalping the lawn when
encountering high spots, the cutting deck
wheels should be positioned approximately

mower is at the desired cutting height. When
shipped, the cutting deck wheels are set to
the 3.81 cm (1.5 in.) position. Depending on
your desired cutting height, you may need to
change the position of the cutting deck wheels.

1. Stop the product, and disengage the
blades.
2. Turn the start key to the OFF position,
and engage the parking brake.
3. To raise the cutting deck, grasp the deck
KHLJKW DGMXVWPHQW OHYHU SXVK OHIW WR
disengage from slot, move toward the
back of the mower, then push right into
slot to secure.
4. To lower the cutting deck, grasp the
GHFN KHLJKW DGMXVWPHQW OHYHU SXVK OHIW
to disengage from slot, move toward the
front of the mower, then push right into
slot to secure.
NOTE: Once the preferred cutting height is
determined for your lawn, install the auto-stop
SOXJ MXVW EHORZ WKH OHYHU SRVLWLRQ WR HDVLO\
return to the preferred height.
