Preparing the machine for operation
1.
Before using the appliance, make sure that the main switch (H) is in the
"O" - "off" position.
2.
Insert the micromotor plug (L) into the socket (E) on the front of the unit.
3.
Open the nozzle clamping mechanism by turning the micromotor ring
clockwise. Insert the nozzle into the open connector and snap it into place
by turning anti-clockwise.
4.
Switch off the micromotor by turning the knob (D) anti-clockwise as
far as it will go.
5.
Make sure that the nozzle stem is correctly positioned and firmly clamped
with the clamp. Warning! Switching on the micromotor without the nozzle
installed in the handpiece may result in malfunction of the device!
6.
Set the direction of rotation with the nozzle rotation switch (F) (R =
clockwise, L = anti-clockwise). Warning! The direction of rotation can only
be changed when the micromotor is switched off!
7.
Hold the handpiece (L) in your hand or place it in the holder (M) before
switching on the appliance.
8.
Switch the main switch (H) to the "I" position, the mains
indicator (C) lights up.
9.
Set the desired speed using the speed controller (D) by turning it gently
clockwise to increase the speed, anticlockwise to decrease the speed.
10.
Attention! When operating the machine, ensure that the micromotor speed
does not exceed the permissible values depending on the cutter diameter
(see graph on page 8).
11.
When work is complete, switch off the machine by turning the main switch
(H) to the "O" position.
Maintenance of the machine
1.
Keep the nozzles clean and free of dust and cuttings.
2.
Use an alcohol solution to remove dust from the exterior of the unit and
avoid getting moisture inside.
3.
Use balanced nozzles with a rounded shaft end and a stem diameter of
2.3 mm. Never use uncentred, rusty or damaged nozzles. Improper use
