What to do if tire pressure is high and the warning light is on for SAF-HOLLAND Automobile Accessories?
- LlisawhiteAug 17, 2025
If the tire pressure is high and the warning light is on, check the following: ensure the incoming pressure is greater than 100psi, or desired tire pressure +10psi (whichever value is higher). Also, ensure the incoming voltage is greater than 12V DC. If these are not the cause, then the pressure protection valve, pressure switch, or solenoid valve may be defective and require replacement. Other possible causes include a regulator that is out of adjustment, corroded butt connectors at the solenoid, or loose/leaking air lines and fittings. In these cases, adjust the regulator, replace the butt connectors, or repair any leaks as needed. Finally, a leaking rotary union or tire hoses may be the source of the problem and require replacement.
