C. Basic Use

Check Harness/
Headrest Height
With child in the seat, check
the location of the harness
slot.
Follow the guidelines below
to determine the correct
harness height.
Forward-Facing Position
Upper harness slots must be even
with or just above the shoulders.
If the harness is below the child’s
shoulders in the highest harness
position and the child weighs at
least 40 lbs. (18.1 kg) and is at least 4 years old, convert
the seat to a belt-positioning booster.
To Change Harness
Location
From the back of the seat,
remove harness from
splitter plate.
Pull Harness Out of
Shell From the Front

Rethread Harness
Into Correct Harness
Location
Make sure harness does
not twist.
Squeeze the headrest
adjuster on the back of the
seat.
Slide the headrest to the
correct position. Make
sure it locks into place.

Adjust Headrest
The choosen harness slot
height and the headrest
position MUST match
locations.

Thread Harness OVER
Metal Bar
Pull harness through the
back.
Harness MUST go
OVER
the metal bar and lay
BETWEEN the metal bar
and plastic handle of the
headrest adjuster.
