make sure all parts are accounted for before beginning installation. Do not substitute any of the parts. The

Summary

Preparing the door and door frame

Prepare Door Using Template or Drill Fixture

Prepare the door using the Quantum RFID reader installation template or drill fixture.

Prepare Door Frame and Install Strike Plate

Prepare the door frame using the template and install the strike plate.

Align Mortise Plate Bevel and Insert Case

Align the mortise front plate with the bevel of the door edge and insert the case.

Installing the lock trim

Remove Battery Pack and Retaining Spring

Remove the battery pack and retaining spring before installation.

Position Proximity Reader Assembly

Position the outside proximity reader assembly on the door.

Route Cables Through Door and Trim

Route ribbon, power, and motor wires through the door and inside trim.

Position and Secure Inside Trim

Position the inside trim and loosely secure it with screws.

Align and Secure Outside Lever Trim

Align the outside lever trim and secure it with screws.

Connect Battery Wire and Dead Bolt Spindle

Connect the battery wire and insert the dead bolt spindle assembly.

Install Inside Escutcheon and Cover

Install the inside escutcheon and secure the trim cover.

Program Lock and Test Functionality

Program the lock using the LPI Probe and test functionality.

Testing Lock Functionality

Verify Green LED Flashes and Lever Operation

Ensure the green LED flashes and the exterior lever operates correctly.

Troubleshoot LED Error Codes

Refer to the table for troubleshooting based on LED flash patterns.

Appearance Inspection Points

Check finish, mounting straightness, and flushness of components.
